About
the course

Age: 4 Years

Duration: September - June

In Year 4 at school, Clappy, inspired by the British artist Eric Clapton, will take four-year-olds through his fantastic world with his amusing stories.

A fundamental pillar for learning will be music, which will enrich the lessons culturally thanks to references to the artist, his context, curiosities and values, and it will also be a resource to strengthen and internalise the course contents.

Accompanied by Clappy, four-year-old students, who are already able to learn four to six new words a day, will begin to communicate using simple constructions and short sentences. They will also learn some basic grammar rules such as the correct use of “he” and “she”, and they will be able to tell a short story and sing a song by heart.

Eric Clapton Eric Clapton Eric Clapton

One of the most influential legends, known as the Guitar God and a triple Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member… his guitar solos have always been considered among the best in the world.

Four-year-old children have a great fantasy and imagination. They like attributing human life to natural elements and surrounding objects, as well as asking questions, although they are not interested in the answers. This is the age of symbolic play, known as “playing make-believe”. During this stage they learn social skills in order to interact with children of their own age, preferring to play with them rather than on their own.

Artist’s pedagogical contribution:

1. Great willpower and spirit for overcoming the difficult situations he has lived through, and how music was a great pillar he could rely on.

2. Fellowship and solidarity values that the artist showed by participating in philanthropic projects that collaborate in humanitarian causes worldwide.
