About
the course

Age: 5 Years

Duration: September - June

Jini, inspired by the guitarist and singer Jimi Hendrix, will be guiding the five-year- old students with her stories during this school year.

This journey will also be influenced by music, which will act as a means of cultural transmission, providing the content of the course programme with curiosities and references to the artist and the context in which he lived. It will also help to internalise the language’s different elements.

Thanks to Jini, students in this year’ course will already begin to form sentences spontaneously and will be able to tell a simple story using complex sentences, while they are having fun and enjoying in a creative and imaginative environment.

Jimi Hendrix Jimi Hendrix Jimi Hendrix

Number 1 on Rolling Stones’ 100 greatest guitarists of all-time list, he is “indisputably the greatest musician in the history of rock”. He did it without studying music or knowing how to read guitar chords, which made him a total self-taught innovator who made his own way. This is how the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame describes him.

At the age of five, the child is at the socialised play stage and likes sharing materials. They respect the rules established by the adult and the group, although they are more independent: “I can do it by myself!”. Their interest in the world is focused on them. The things that used to drive them to seek refuge in fantasy, now lead them to look for accurate and rational explanations.

Artist’s pedagogical contribution:

1. Transmission of the concept of self-learning as a response to traditional didactic guidelines.

2. Encouraging interest in what he likes and what catches his attention, transmitting values such as perseverance and willpower when it comes to achieving an objective.
