During the Beatles’ Folk phase, John Lennon was the most outstanding member of the group, both on a compositional and musical level, as well as on a media level. Moreover, as this is an age in which they begin to understand different points of view and more complex subjects, the activism and social issues that Lennon talked about is a good pretext to deal with more complex contents during the lessons.
The Beatles will be present in ages from 9 to 12. This band will inspire a group of four characters who will call themselves the “Fab Four”, referring to the nickname given to The Beatles, and who will evolve together over four years, coinciding with the different stages of the legendary British group: “Rock & Roll”, “Folk”, “Psychedelic” and “Rock”.
The group’s pedagogical contribution:
1. To encourage team spirit and teamwork as a fundamental pillar when it comes to learning and developing small tasks.
2. Friendship, loyalty, respect, collaboration and empathy values, essential not only for the learning process in the classroom, but also outside it.
